we stayed up late last night getting ready for a garage sale today...i was headed down the street to hang signs and it was drizzly so we decided to wait until this morning...up and out the door at 6 i realized the weather hadn't changed and we weren't prepared to lay out tarps and cover items in the yard so i cancelled the garage sale on craigslist and wrote a big CANCELLED sign in red over the sign we had already hung...this left us with the question of what to do with the 4 dozen chocolate chip cookies we baked last night...so once the drizzle cleared the children helped me set up a stand...
our dog kyra isn't used to being in the front yard so she was frantically barking for attention and wanting to be a part of the action...our kitten pablo snuck up and ran up the tree...story decided to start pouring cocoa before the customers arrived...
sea was running around with as much enthusiasm as kyra (she chose to wear her xmas dress from last year)...

i asked if we could take a photo with her since she might be our only customer!
