day 112 blog 102 xmas tree
we got a 7 foot tree last night at ikea for $20...apparently in past years they also give you a $20 gift card when you recycle it at IKEA...and they plant a new tree for every one cut down...sorry my posts are so sparse...we decorated the tree last night and today i'm cleaning after being gone...then off to a work party with manuel tonight, family photo shoot and birthday party this weekend...hope to update with lots of holiday photos soon...

We got your Christmas card from the swap today and Emily LOVED all of the pictures, the letter and the beautifully decorated card. I am so glad that we decided to participate in this. She is thrilled to open all of the cards and loves getting mail. I can't wait for next year already :0) It was such a good idea to include your blog in the letter. I didn't even think of it! WOW a $20 tree, that's great. I've been trying to get to IKEA this year, what a deal to get a tree and a gift card! I sold both of my full sized artificial trees at our garage sale, so this year I have just a tabletop tree. It's much easier to have in our little condo and I still get to decorate it.
